改編自日本青春無敵人氣漫畫，兩男一女三個從高中就一起成長的好朋友，再次相遇於迷失的東京大都會裡頭，生命線互相重疊交差在一起。其實兩名男主角早已同居，過著一般同性戀戀人的家居小品式生活，不過相見好始終有時同住難，再加上一個突如其來的第三者，雖然是一個女的，醋罈依舊可以潑過水花四濺。一瓶香水變成三人身上揮之不去的醋意，有趣的是妒忌心最重的一個，原來是女主角的心上人。醋意最終在友情中隨隨蒸發，少女的心其實是被那份知我者莫若他，真摰同性戀人的愛所牽動。
Based on a “yaoi manga” - a boy/boy Japanese illustrated novel, WORDS OF DEVOTION tells the story of Otani and Tachibana and their bittersweet love for each other. The two went through high school together and now that they’re in college they’ve decide to be roommates. Soon they become more than just friends and their relationship seems to be going fine until Tachibana starts hanging out with Yuki, a female friend from high school. Insecure Otani tries to put himself between the two but that just makes things worse. WORDS OF DEVOTION stays true to the yaoi manga formula whose primary readers, are surprisingly, young woman. There are plenty of shirtless scenes, a love triangle and a girl thrown into the mix.
