可能是漫畫同人誌的福音，亦是男同花型電影寶鑑之一。日本花樣少男的漫畫式電影，故事情節可能不是最重要，一批一批湧入鏡頭的美少年才是買點，喜歡收看花樣電視劇的觀眾又怎能錯過這「花會」呢？故事主人翁Takumi 因為一些不可告人的私人經歷，患上了“被碰觸恐懼症”，而深深愛上他的學長 Gyee，為了幫助他克服恐懼重過新生，付出一切的精神時間，更不惜接受情敵的挑戰。高校男生，美人美境，加上童話式的鏡頭和色彩，帶領觀眾完全浪蕩於男同志漫畫裡的夢幻後花園。
Takumi joins a prestigious all-boys high school, but since he’s not of the same social (and financial) status as the other students he finds it difficult to adjust. He tries to keep a low profile but when Gyee, the most popular guy in school becomes his roommate things change. A love between the two starts to develop but Takumi is haunted by something in his past and has problems being touched. Jealousy starts to stir with classmates. Can the couple survive outside influences and Takumi’s psychological problems? JUNE PRIDE is based on a Japanese boy/boy love illustrated novel (yaoi manga) and while the kissing and sex scenes are mostly implied, the story keeps things interesting and the audience entertained.
