Desperate to become a dad, pediatrician Manu ruefully tries to adopt a baby behind the back of his handsome lawyer boyfriend Philippe. But the plan backfires when the social services find out Manu is actually not straight, and Philippe angrily slams the door. Things get even more out of control when Manu stages a Greencard-style marriage with an Argentian immigrant, in exchange to be his baby's surrogate mother. A Gallic dramedy reseminscient of a gay LOVE ACTUALLY, BABY LOVE takes a progressive view on same-sex adoption in an unharmful and meller manner. A crowdpleasing work with a stellar cast.
