Breaking the cycle, is a story about finding love in unexpected but wholly familiar places and how individuals evolve together. Jason and Chad are roommates in New York City. Jason is addicted to Internet chat rooms and is looking for his dream guy there. Chad is looking a little closer to home. Jason trolls the internet under the moniker "Hookup Boy" in search of exciting sexual encounters that lead him to porn theaters and phone sex but ultimately leave him feeling unfulfilled. His shy roommate Chad finds himself attracted to Jason's raw Italian sex appeal but keeps his desire hidden under the guise of friendship. The two men are kept apart by their mutual loneliness until the day Chad's friend introduces him to the world of internet chat rooms--and he meets a mysterious stranger named Hookup Boy who changes both of their lives in the most unexpected ways.
